They did a good job. Stuff like this really gets the crowd involved and brings the home atmosphere to another level. And it worked well because Maryland beat Wisconsin.
It'd be nice if we could do SOMETHING to get our crowd more involved like this. NOTE THE STUDENT SECTION in the LOWER BOWL and NOT just on one side. That would help.
I know we tried a flash mob last year or the year before (vs UL?) but it didn't really work well.
It's been unfortunate that this year we've been the away opponent for many teams to have big hyped crowd events like this against us. SMU had a raucous crowd for college gameday, I think Cinci or Temple had a 'black-out' crowd, Tulane had some crappy t-shirts, etc. We are clearly the target of the conference night in and night out. Especially so as the defending champs. I wish we could try to generate some similar excitement for our home games, but I understand it can be hard vs the likes of ECU, Houston, etc.
No excuses for the SMU game on Sunday though.
