Maybe V Tech would fit well in the B1G if the B1G can't shake UVA loose.
I think if the ACCN doesn't get off the ground soon (i.e. next 2-3 years), then FSU, Clemson, and VT could all look towards the SEC. VT seems to be a good fit for the SEC and it would allow the conference to get further north into even more football recruiting territories. FSU and Clemson would have to get over the "we already have presence in FL/SC" hump but both could if they continue to stay ahead of their in-state r1vals.
But yeah, there's a considerable difference in atmosphere from what you would find at Lane Stadium in comparison with what you'd see at other ACC schools like Miami, Wake, Duke, BC, Fruit, Pitt, etc.
Git 'r done... with UConn as the partner! Oklahoma/Kansas optional.I agree if the ACC fractured, V Tech to the SEC makes sense. That said, I believe the B1G wants a team in VA to lock-up the DC market, even if they pillage the XII shoudl that be the P5 conference to exp;ode. My sense is that UVA is much tighter with the ACC than V tech. So, if the B1G can't pry UVA lose, then V Tech could be a viable alternative. V Tech even has a master plan that basically screams - AAU.
