Don't understand these coaches. You just get a pick, have all the momentum and you bring in the wildcat specialist. 2 plays later Brewer comes back in and bails them out of 3 & 14. Just dumb.

Surprised they played their way back into the game though. Good adjustments on defense.

Ohio St's suspensions just came back to haunt them. Would have Myer suspended those players if he still coached at Gainesville? Credit to V Tech for adjusting and taking advantages of a of a pair of turnovers.

Overall, looks like a fun environment down in Blacksburg and there are some Ohio St fans in attendance. Maybe V Tech would fit well int eh B1G if the B1G can't shake UVA loose.

Braxton Miller is a pro. This offense could be scary good when everyone has their timing down.

Looks like they're pretty well set at back-up QB too....

It looked as if OSU was running scout team in the second half and scoring whenever they wanted. They will be 20+ point favorites in every single game they play this year, up to Michigan State.

VaTech has more of an SEC vibe. The much discussed possibility of the SEC expanding into areas where they have no current presence---VA and NC--center on VaTech and NCSt.

Va. Tech is lucky to be playing in the ACC & not the SEC. They are rudderless with Brewer out of the game. They will win games in the ACC against some have nots due to their defense. In the SEC they would be lower echelon. They have to get the signal caller situation sorted out.

OSU has some insane athletic playmakers. That spin move by Braxton Miller was sick.

OSU has it made with their schedule their toughest game is MSU there is always a possibility they could have a wtf type of game but you look at their schedule how do they not go undefeated.

I think if the ACCN doesn't get off the ground soon (i.e. next 2-3 years), then FSU, Clemson, and VT could all look towards the SEC. VT seems to be a good fit for the SEC and it would allow the conference to get further north into even more football recruiting territories. FSU and Clemson would have to get over the "we already have presence in FL/SC" hump but both could if they continue to stay ahead of their in-state r1vals.

But yeah, there's a considerable difference in atmosphere from what you would find at Lane Stadium in comparison with what you'd see at other ACC schools like Miami, Wake, Duke, BC, Fruit, Pitt, etc.

I agree if the ACC fractured, V Tech to the SEC makes sense. That said, I believe the B1G wants a team in VA to lock-up the DC market, even if they pillage the XII shoudl that be the P5 conference to exp;ode. My sense is that UVA is much tighter with the ACC than V tech. So, if the B1G can't pry UVA lose, then V Tech could be a viable alternative. V Tech even has a master plan that basically screams - AAU.
