The sea just parted for the UConn women to win the National Championship.

All they need to pull off is the impossible: beating Notre Dame.

Not gonna happen. :p But Skylar will get hers.

I think that was a good demonstration of why Women's basketball fans complain about the refs.

I didn't see this one coming. I thought ND or Uconn were the only two teams capable of taking out Baylor.

Good day to be a Louisville fan!

I honestly didn't think anyone, nevermind Louisville, was going to beat Baylor this year. I thought overcoming the huge YY chromosomal advantage would be just too much.

This is huge for UCONN. If ND can beat us four times in a season, they deserve it. Maybe the forth time our girls can find some composure and finally get it done against them.

that was crazy L'ville just held them off with 3 of their key players fouled out, Uconn just has to play up to their talent for 40 minutes and they got a shot. There goes any kind of comparison, comparing Griner's Baylor against the all time great Uconn teams.

Those two FTs at the end - one to tie, two to win - were really 2 must makes. Overtime might have been 15-0 Baylor if she only made one.

Watched the 2nd half, and really enjoyed the comedy that is officiating in women's basketball. The calls and lack thereof are equally atrocious in both directions. Congrats to the L'ville women.

The last four minutes of that game was perhaps the ugliest stretch of basketball since someone had the idea of nailing up a peach basket. Players, coaches, refs....they were all in on it. Awful.

With one shiny exception - that inbounds play UL ran late was a thing of absolute beauty.

Ville coach said he stole that from Oral Roberts in their win over Kentucky.

Yes sir. That was an absolutely beautiful inbounds play. The ball was passed before the player even got to her spot. Awesome play.

The coach at LUHI (Facey's high school), drew up an equally awesome play when they played Carrington's school. It was a last second inbound, and it actually won the game.

Those are really fun to watch when they work correctly.

The Baylor coach flat out embarrassed herself on that late charge call.

And then, the highlights from the Press Conference--geez, just awful and ungracious. I know it was a tough loss, but the highlights were her enumerating all the terrible calls the refs made.

She could've been T-ed up for that act.

As theatrical as Geno can be and also sometimes needs to be restrained by his assistant, he is never like that during a press conference.

The refs allowed Baylor back into the game (and I'll bet they didn't think UL could win with 9 seconds left). It's kinda sad that she mentioned the refs.

I totally agree with you. At one point it was 10 fouls on Louisville to 2 on Baylor. I told my wife they are trying to give the game to Baylor. I did not see the press conference but if the Baylor coach was complaining about the calls, she has absolutely no class.

This was one of the best games this season. A Baylor win would have made it one of the worst.

The views of the Louisville face guarding Greiner showed a lot of fouling...Sometimes they had all 5 players on her.

Baylor's a really physical team too. The refs only let one team play physical.

3 Louisville starters fouled out. For Mulkey to comlain about the refs is silly. Griner held herself responsible.
