they are playing this...Louisville, Kentucky? Figurative prizes for those who spot him in the gallery.

Louisville, indeed, blake: in fact, just over a mile (as the buzzard flies) from my folk's property. I had the good fortune to go to the PGA at Valhalla in '96, and be stupified at the lack of golf knowledge of my fellow Kentuckians.

Perhaps the most amazing thing about this years' incarnation of the PGA @ the 'Ville is the weather. Early August in Kentucky is often like the men's room sauna at a cheap hotel, except with pollen. Right now, it's in the mid-70's, and the forecast for the rest of the week is low-80's. It's still humid, but 81 degrees and humid, with lows in the 60's, beats 94 and humid, with lows in the mid 70's.
