He's a star radio personality on talk radio, in regards to running again, he can't after he was convicted of his first felony, the state passed a law that stated you could not hold public office in the state if you were a felon (why that law was not on the books is beyond me, only in RI) But good old Buddy challenged the law by saying "hey, I was a felon before you passed that law" so the courts agreed and he was essentially grandfathered in and he won the mayor's office again, only to be convicted of federal racketeering charges so now he is done, finally.
I had no idea Ct. was that bad too. I think RI still holds the distinction of having the ex-mayor of the capitol city, the ex-governor and the state's supreme court justice all incarcerated at the same time.
