Leaves disappointed

Richard Move, August. Big time. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Throwing out a legend like Zybysko without a pic for the youngins'. Look at that man sweater he was sportin'!!!!!

Probably. Most oldest sister still tells stories of how I'd put my face up to the TV to try and look underneath the red X's to see the blood.

Man, and I thought this was going to be a thread about Joe Gatto's legendary imaginary manger :( :(

(c'mon, any Impractical Joker nuts on the BY?)

I thought this was about Larry Blucher. I remember him hitting a game winner against Cuse in the Perno years.

Wasn't that FT's with one that hit back rim, went about 10 feet above the rim and still went in?

That man sweater is nothing compared to George "The Animal" Steele.

And he ate turnbuckles, too.

I remember it being a triple OT game where UConn lost. Ray Broxton hit a shot to force OT, Blucher hit 2 FTs to force the 2nd OT and I think Vern Giscombe hit 1 or 2 FTs to force the 3rd OT and Cuse won by 2 when UConn ran out of players and gas = Rafael Addison killed UConn that game and as I remember it was the Pearls freshman year - had to reminisce with a buddy to get all the details - those were my drinking days but I remember so much about UConn BB and soccer of those years!!!!

Oh yeah - Larry Bird - loved him - he and Doug Collins remain my 2 favorite NBA players
