Can I just say that nothing irritates me more than when dieties are brought into business decisions!!! Really. When an AD says, "After much conversation, evaluation, and PRAYER...", I normally tune out. Yes....Jesus told you to fire Joker. Even the Lord does not like your coach....

All that being said, I saw the attendance of their game with Vandy, and the word "ouch" comes to mind...

I'm more annoyed when God has to tell an AD to fire a bad coach.....

I feel for my good friend Joker. He and I talked earlier today and I told him that people just wanted to win more.

That doesn't mean they don't love him, because they still do. Everybody does. I reminded him that I've been fired before.

I told him that as long as he learns from this, he'll be fine. He's a terrific football coach and a terrific person.
