Kid is an absolute stud, just watched him carve up the Bears for 9 catches and 137 yards. He's getting better each game and looks like he will be one of the top tight ends in the league sooner or later. It's crazy that he and Hernandez are both from CT., both went to Florida and both are almost impossible to guard playing the joker tight end. We all know what happened to Hernandez, let's hope for a better outcome for Reed.

Was part of the reason Reed went to Florida because they let him give QB a crack and everyone else thought he wasn't a QB?

Or misremembering?

Can't remember, Florida's quarterback now is another CT. kid Tyler Murphy.

A bit reminiscent of my teammate at Southington. Scott Otis who started at WVU and transferred to play for Rich Rod in FCS. No one in high school could catch his passes - believe he held the state record in the javelin at least for a while.

He ended up on the clipboard for the Ravens and I think ended up with a Super Bowl ring against Giants.

You speak of Hernandez as if he was still a NFL player impossible to guard as he sits in jail. His joker tight end is very well guarded at this time.

Imagine how good he could have been had he gone to UConn. He decided otherwise and so he should be a non-person on this board. Kind of like the kid from Penn State, who bailed to go to USC. He's sure been to a lot of Rose Bowls. Should gone to UConn.
