OT: Jazz Fest postpone till fall

Good to know. I had planned on skipping Jazz Fest this year for the first time in years, but with the festival moving later to the fall, I just may keep my streak alive!

My run has been since 2004 with a few off years in between.
Wife and I and a whole bunch of friends were planning to go this year for 2nd weekend.

Oh well. Guess New Orleans this Fall is in the forecast now.

Also, for anyone that has ever considered going Fest is a Must.
Incredibly chill and so easy of a fest to navigate.
Once you go you'll want to go every year.

We were booked for French Quarter Fest, now hopefully in October

French Quarter Fest has also been rescheduled, to the first weekend in October, which is generally great weather in New Orleans. I've been Fest around a dozen times since 1995 and I still love it and consider it the best music festival, but French Quarter Fest, which I've been to twice, is also excellent and definitely worth checking out for a nice change of pace from Fest.

Jazz Fest now canceled for 2020 entirely. Guessing FQF will be also.

That sucks. Guess I will use my tickets for next year's jazz fest. Always go 2nd weekend except for the year we went to the Kentucky derby. That was a heck of a 2 week party between 1st weekend of jazz fest, a night in Memphis Blues clubs, a day on the Bourbon Trail and then the Kentucky Derby.
