With the spotlight on domestic/sex abuse in the NFL right now, any team that is considering drafting Winston will, unlike the Tallahassee PD, will conduct a thorough investigation of what happened in addition to everything else. The results of that private investigation will determine where Winston goes in the draft, if at all.

I am going on record to say Jamis Winston will have a shorter NFL career than JaMarcus Russell

I think he will last longer than Russell. Winston may be an idiot who thinks he can do whatever he likes, but he isn't lazy when it comes to football. Russell was just a lazy bum that had a great arm and didn't want to work.

I would be willing to bet money he goes before the third round. Teams without a superstar qb will do anything to make their teams relevant, even if it means taking a shot on this knucklehead.

Winston supposedly has a TERRIBLE work ethic...I heard on the First take with Greg mcElroy and taylor Zarzour either this week or last week that he admitted he needed to work harder in practice after the spring game last year. mcElroy hammered him AGAIN for the comment saying that FSU won't make it through to the National Championship game because he doesn't give it all he has 100% of the time...only during game time. he then went on to say his work ethic will hurt him BIG time in the NFL

His hearing is scheduled for today -

Q. WHAT ARE POSSIBLE SANCTIONS WINSTON FACES?
A. Winston could face sanctions ranging from a written or verbal reprimand, to probation that could include being removed from the football team for the ACC title game and/or the national championship contest, to expulsion from the university if found in violation of the student code of conduct.
Q. WHEN SHOULD A RULING BE EXPECTED?
A. Rules specify a formal decision letter must be sent to Winston within 10 class days after the hearing ends. That time limit could be extended "if additional consideration of evidence and deliberation is required," FSU spokeswoman Browning Brooks previously explained to the AP in an email

What are the Vegas odds that no such ruling is ever announced because it will be delayed until after the BCS title game on January 12th as Winton will declare the day after the game that he is leaving FSU immediately to prepare for the NFL draft in the spring?

I especially find it interesting that the hearing was delayed until December 2nd. The last day of classes at FSU this semester is December 5th and the Spring semester starts on January 7th. Thus equating the concept of 'class days' to 'business days,' the ruling technically does does not have to be realsed until January 16th. Very convenient.

"Additional consideration of evidence and deliberation" will most definitely be required.
