I guess we should all be on watch. From UCLA article "Five Star Analysis", so take it with a grain of salt, but you never know:

Most importantly, though, his commitment is huge for future recruiting. Specifically, 2014 five-star SF Daniel Hamilton. The duo has always wanted to be a package deal, and while Daniel Hamilton is committed to UConn, it wouldn't be hard to see him flipping pledges sooner rather than later to play with his older brother in front of friends and family at Pauley Pavilion. The Hamiltons also have a good relationship with 2015 five-star guard Tyler Dorsey, who ran the point for the brothers on St. John Bosco's team last year. Grabbing those two players, with Isaac Hamilton, would give Alford a solid nucleus to attract bigs and other talent down the road.

There's a reason why Ollie's first recruiting visit this week was to the kid who already gave a verbal commitment.

If you want to take the glass half-full approach, then consider that Isaac's decommitment likely had nothing to do with grandma and everything to do with regretting that he committed to UTEP and Tim Floyd.

We have so many negative fans it's ridiculous. Isaac decommitted from UTEP over a month ago, and Daniel has given no indication he plans to do the same. In fact his father recently reaffirmed his son is playing at UConn next year for coach Ollie. Either stop being pansys or don't get emotionally involved with recruits.

Pshhhhhhhh, come on guys, everyone knows KO brings that west coast vibe to UConn. D Hamilton might even confuse Storrs Center for Rodeo Drive.

I feel better with UCLA than USC. Wait to see if he signs.

the father has said multiple times that Isaac would play in LA while Daniel remains committed, I'll breath a sigh of relief when he's in a UConn uniform but I would be alot more worried if they said nothing at all instead of reaffirming that he's committed.

I must admit, I'm a little bit nervous about this. I just hope that after seeing a lot of other recruits passing on UConn since he's committed, that he doesn't get cold feet and decide to join his brother closer to home. When it comes to recruiting nothing shocks me. The November signing period can't come soon enough.

Either reporters on twitter are trying to stir stuff up, or its just irresponsible to say, DH could be on the move next. This grandmother thing and two siblings on opposite coasts smells funny. Hoping we don't get the shaft.

We have so many whiny negative fans over here, DHam isn't going anywhere. Isaac Hamilton committed to UTEP for Tim Floyd, once Floyd left Isaac realized he was stuck at UTEP of all places and realized he needed to get out of there. Daniel Hamilton is our next great shooting guard.

Tim Floyd didn't leave UTEP...

"When Hamilton is eligible for the Bruins, they’ll be getting a player ranked No. 16 in the Class of 2013 by 247Sports. It's possible that his brother, Daniel, a five-star recruit in the 2014 class who is currently committed to UConn, could also join him in Westwood."

Yeah, and "it's possible" that BC and Providence will win the next 20 NCAA championships between them.

I haven't seen anything but naked speculation that D-Ham is rethinking his commitment. If there was some indication of that, I'd freak out, but it simply hasn't happened. Last I heard, as others have pointed out, his family reaffirmed his commitment to UConn.

A lot of basketball players have brothers a couple years older or younger, and very few play together in college.

DH must have known his bro was getting cold feet. I think he would have waited to commit if he really wanted to team up with Isaac.

Daniel has a whole year left in LA now his brother is going to school down the street. They are saying all the right things so is reassuring.

Don't think any of us speculating on this is that ridiculous.
