Ran into several videos all labeled Tink Davis the Best 8th Grade Basketball Player in the Country (they were dated 2015 so I guess she would be the best 9th grader now)........I have no idea where she plays or for whom but she is quite a talent for a middle school basketball player.....UConn be on the alert!!!!

googling her, I see in twitter she follows the Indianapolis Colts & Atlanta Falcons. SO: she will go to either Purdue, Indiana, Notre Dame or University of Georgia. That seems absolutely the only certain thing we know about how. No use UConn even thinking about her. :-)

Bags, I'm sure you have children. If you remember (and to paraphrase another poster from months ago) predicting the future mind of an adolescent is akin to reading tea leaves. Nothing changes faster than a kids opinion.

UConn and Louisville are just the two of her top 30 list ....yes she is waiting for UConn

I'm sure we'll being hearing about Tink Davis in the coming years. She appears to be willing to pass the ball. That will bode well for her when college coaches begin to look at her seriously. One thing is certain, she's got a "wicked" crossover, and a smooth shooting stroke. Thanks for the heads up Charliebball.

Anyone has information about Mo'ne Davis?
She should be 15 years old now.

I went on the internet and tried to look up anything new on Mo'ne but found nothing. In 2015 she played for her high school team and her city's rec team ( boys ). There was no mention of playing AAU with any traveling girls team. Her high school team is not even rated nationally, so with the exception of recruit scout Olson watching one of her games just out of curiosity is not rated in the player rankings. I think he wrote an article on that game in ESPN. I wouldn't expect much to come of her career.

Unlike Mo'ne, I Tink "Davis" might have a future.

I agree. Mo'ne Davis playing big time D1 basketball is a huge reach at best. Watching the little tape of Tink Davis that is available online, I will say that she really needs to develop her left hand. While she is young and has time to do so she is almost exclusively right handed at this point in her career.

She also needs to work on her leaping ability. She barely leaves the ground on her jump shot off the dribble. But send her to Baylor...Mulkey promises her a starting position.

Is she playing JV there? That doesn't look like Varsity GBB... atleast not any I've seen. She should be playing on a Varsity team if she isn't already.
