NCAA control of college sports is coming under increasing threats.
I have thought (and posted) a lot about the O'Bannon case, the Manziel autograph signings and related topics. For now I will hold my thoughts but, instead, invite your attention to two media events.
Should the judge in Arizona grant Class Action status to the O'Bannon case, you can expect the NCAA to circle the wagons.

The cover story for the current issue of Time magazine is entitled, "It's Time to Pay College Athletes."
On October 16, a tv special will air, entitled "Schooled: The Price of College Sports." In an article in Forbes magazine a fellow with expertise in this field named Darren Heitner provides a preview that includes mention that such long-ball hitters as Jay Bilas and Bob Costas will appear in the program.
