If I remember right, they lost a decent amount of talent.

I'm also curious if they're going to be able to recruit where they are. Huggins is a good recruiter, but I think being out on an island like they are could prove problematic.

the few times I've watched them it just seemed like they had very little talent, seems like they completely dropped the ball in recruiting the past few years. Huggins would usually mix in a stud or two with some blue collar, under the radar guys but it seems like all he has now is the latter and they're not really developing. oh well, f em, Boatright's mom pretty much confirmed that Huggins was doing the most when it came to negative recruiting when Uconn entered the picture for him so they deserve the fall off.

Strangely, they don't have a single player who averages 10ppg or more. Everyone is single digits.

I think that gives you a clue to their problems.

For all the issues and complaints we've heard about Boatright....I'd rather him than Hinds.

To be fair, it was only one year. Football started out great, and then fell apart. I don't think they expected good things from basketball.

WV is done, screwed!! They use to recruit in NYC, NJ and Philly. Now they are recruiting the mid. west. They have no NYC or NJ kids, one Philly a transfer from LSalle. Can't recruit the NE when you say you play 4 Tx teams, ,2 Kan., 2 Ok, and Iowa. No more MSG, or BE games. BB will be dead in WV.

It was purely a football move for WVU. It's something they can easily turn around with the right players and staff. Bball on the other hand.. I think it will do the way of the dodo
