Thankful that even as eccentric as we all may be, this would never happen to a UConn Husky. What a toolbag this guy is.

As a booster, I'd think he'd be more committed to how academic fraud affects athletics. OTOH, since he is booster of a P5 team, it's not a major concern.

I know the point of the thread is to expose this guy as a lunatic, but I gotta say, the sheer audacity of it cracks me up and is sort of endearing. Maybe I'm a bad person. The part about how he would be in the NBA if not for his wife had me dying.

Paige seems like a great kid, though. He's the type of dude you want college basketball to be about (even though the guy is kind of right that he didn't improve much) and I hope he makes it.

It would be one thing to say that on a message board but to tweet it directly to the player.....wow!

And it says something that boosters care more about former players getting cut in the NBA than they do about academic fraud.

There's a lot of Ace's lurking around here
I'm afraid to say................................

Apparently, Paige should have cut his wife, then he'd be like an all star and probably be personally responsible for getting 3 or 4 top recruits to swing NC's way.

I would think that boosters don't usually announce to the world that they're boosters.

And if you are, attacking alums on twitter is a great way to ensure that the program wants nothing to do with you beyond your financial contributions.

This guy is a troll. No one announces that they are boosters to make a point like that unless they're trying to make themselves feel good on the inside. It did make me LOL though.
