OT: Impossibly beautiful music

Sarah Jarosz has recently been touring w/ Aiofe O'Donovan (formerly of Crooked Still) and Sara Watkins (formerly of Nickel Creek). That's a lot of combined talent. They go by the name I'm With Her, they chose that before any recent campaigns and it is not a political statement.

Sarah is a very tallant singer. She can play multi-instruments including mandolin, banjo, guitar, octave mandolin.
Her fourth studio album, Undercurrent, was released on June 17, 2016.[9] It won the Grammy for Best Folk Album along with the song "House of Mercy" winning the Grammy for Best American Roots Performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards.[10][11]

I hadn't heard of her. She's somewhat reminiscent of Rhiannon Giddens. Good find.

And this, one of my new favorites.

This young woman blew the FreshGrass audience away twice this past September:

She was with the Carolina Chocolate Drops before she went solo. Interesting band that doesn't get much publicity. Trying to re-establish the tradition of black string bands.

Well since I brought them up now I gotta post a song. I think the lineup has changed over the years but I think it started as this trio. Some mighty fine pickin'.

surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet

IL Silenzia by Ennio Marricone. A beautiful trumpet solo that brings me to tears,

Sorry don’t know how to link to you tube.

Not everyone's beautiful, but it suits me.
