OT: I'm a few days late on this

But I figured I'd let you all know that my sister-in-law gave birth to her and my brother's twins earlier last week. Ian Isaac Jr came first and then Nora Leah 2 minutes later. The first time I held my brother's son took me back to when I was 7 years old and my parents let me hold him for the first time. It's probably just emotion talking since at just a few days old it's pretty tough to tell who any baby resembles, but I have to say, at least to me, Ian Jr bears a striking resemblance to my brother. What took my by surprise and put an immediate lump in my throat was when my own 3 year old son asked me if he could be their big brother. I know we all love our kids but I'm pretty damn proud of my son. (Plus I've trained him to do the Carlton Dance whenever Brendan Allen enters a game)

Anyway, I just figured I'd update everyone and give my thanks to all of you again for your support during what has been one of the most difficult times of my life.

Wow, some really special moments for you and your family! Take care, I'm sure that it must be very tough with such a loss, but hopefully the babies will help create a positive focus for your feelings.

Proud moment and brings a lump to my throat just reading it jobber........congrats on the twins. Hope everyone stays healthy and always keeps that beautiful memory of your younger brother alive!!
