OT: If you made this bet, share a little.

Somewhere on God's great earth, there has gotta be one guy who plunked down five bucks or so in Vegas, betting a sort of a daily double. He bet that not only would the recreated Boston Red Sox (lost 93 games last year) win 50 games by July 1, but then he doubled down and bet that the Pittsburgh Pirates (about 17 consecutive losing seasons) would also win 50 by mid-season.

Is this even more impossible than, um, Ball State beating some "elite" team?

Anyhow, once this genius handicapper picks up a few million at the payoff table, I wish he would share just a little (one cool million will do) with Wounded Warriors or Jimmy Fund or some other worthwhile cause.

PS I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and lived several years in Massachusetts. Stillers, Bucs, Celts, Broons, Sawks..............
