Oh I see finally. Pretty great idea IMO. Do you have to pay royalties to the NCAA or anything? I'd hate to give those bastards anymore money.
The Shark Tank video answered a lot of questions.
Clicking on the product descriptions didn't help sell the product. I think you should have the product shown "in action" and on an actual cord in use.
I also worry about the religious affiliation. I think there are a lot of people that would be turned off immediately by that piece of the puzzle. For example, I don't want to buy my Falcons logo bling if I think this is a Christian based organization and that's where my money goes. Business is business, in my mind.
That being said, if there is any opportunity for small investments in the product I would be interested. I think it's catchy.
I'm a big Shark Tank fan....any idea if you make the show? Good luck with it man.
We are taking some of the advice we got here on the board and making it clear what our product is on our front page. We say that TechBling lets you "own your cords". The idea is that our product will be made to fit all type of charger cords along with the headphones (the TechBling that is currently on the website). Right now TechBling fits iphone and samsung headphones as well as many of the less expensive headphones such as skull candy. Can someone please tell me what this product is? Shoe lace covers? Seriously it's been bugging me all day. I don't see a single display picture on the website.
A giant picture of a baseball isn't telling me much. No offense.
I will always take advice on my website. We just added a "what is techBling" to the front page last night.Scot - you know I'm proud of you and how I think this product will take off. Awesome idea. Better than some of your upcoming ones and not as cool as some of your art - but I think you will see fruits of this one for sure.
Not a huge fan of the web site - being a web application guy I can give you some pointed feedback for your creator if you want and even have some design people chime in. Let me know.
I am in love with these quotes. Choir lady makes me think of SNL's church lady. Haha.TechBling was founded by Scot..., Lance ... and David .... of Atlanta, GA. They were tiered of seeing old boring headphones and chargers everywhere and wanted to create something that gives you the ability to personalize and own your cords!...
Fix the typo and move this up top.
Alternatively, you can create a intro page that asks:
Tired of seeing old boring headphones and chargers? Want an easy way to distinguish between headphones and chargers? Just want to express yourself? TechBling let's you add your personal style to tech devices.
Maybe put an appropriate "testimonial" on each of sub pages as a lead.
"As a gifted UConn fan, I love that I can show my support for my school while I run with my TechBling on my headphones" F. Ishey, gifted UConn fan, NY, NY"All my friends want to know how they can get one" Teenage Girl, Anytown USA"It's hard show your faith in today's fast paced world. TechBling let's me do that in a way I am comfortable with." Choir Lady, Atlanta, Georgia.I might fade them over the photo for each section, say five seconds and then leave them up top.
Nice idea, Scot. I think it has legs.
I made a few changes - I just wanted to thank everyone for their input. Thanks again guys (and girls).
