Certainly not an OT subject---if it is all WBB other than UConn would be off limits.
No kid should ever be Ashamed as a result of what a parent, uncle, sister, brother does or is going through. Having said that --as a teen I was ashamed of my Carpenter father--all my friends had teachers, watch makers, professionals for parents--truth was he was a greater Dad than any of those guys, he was there for me all my life. As a young sailor I had a auto accident and he came to see me in the hospital--tears stream from his eyes--I never saw him cry before or after.
My dad was color blind--he shrugged off ethnic daggers--a friend was a friend race, ethnicity didn't matter.
 
thanks for the link... had no idea of her personal family issues, wasn't really interested but enjoyed Wiggins as a Cardinal
