I hope your thread title is just as sarcastic as the spelling.

I merged them guys, hope you dont mind.
Glad someone is working to limit the amount of useless threads around here. One more loss and the boneyard is prepping for armageddon.

Most teams get beter as the season progresses. Red Pants isn't worried about scoreboards. So his teams don't need to improve.

SMU getting better. Huskies....status quo.

What is wrong with them? They were cruising every game. Haven't been the same since Navy beat 'em.

Herman made some coaching decisions in this game that make Diaco look like a genius. Why risk going for it on fourth down in your own territory with over 14 minutes left in the 4Q, especially with a quick score offense? SMU had done nothing on offense in the entire 2H up to that point. Ward gets thrown for an 18 yard loss and you gift SMU a FG. That was essentially the game right there.

This loss will definitely move Boise ahead of them probably Western Michigan also. While Houston still has Lville to play this likely eliminates the AAC from getting a rep in a NY Bowl

The difference between a UConn offense and a real FBS level offense -

UConn - 413 yards - 16 points

SMU - 406 yards - 38 points

Navy wins out and they're in.

Ya gotta wonder what is gong on in Houston. I looked at the box score and figured either Ward was injured or they had a lot of turnovers. Neither happened. It has to be mental...do they already know Herman is leaving? Were they that caught up in the Big12 drama? Did once they lost one game they gave up on their season? Did Herman's kisses weaken their spirit?

None of this is a good look for Herman. I still think he ends up at UT.

Herman better figure something out quick. He's no longer the golden boy he was a few weeks ago when they were still unbeaten. Getting blown out by a 2-4 SMU team doesn't bode well for big time coaching offers.

SMU has potential. It has a great academic reputation, lots of $$$, and they're in the 4th largest metro area (which is one of the top areas in the nation for FBS talent).

They just need a really good coach, and they might have one now.
