Have Michigan looking like Michigan, that's for sure. Most overrated thing in CFB, "coach needs time for his recruits to see the field".

Not in any way comparing this to our situation, UM recruits at a different level, but no matter the job if you aren't seeing real signs of improvement by the end of year 2, you probably don't have your guy.

Are you guys still on track to win the national championship like Diaco predicted?

We're blowing out a team on the road and you're questioning if there is any visible improvement in year two in our program?
No. I made a comment about how it hasn't taken Harbaugh long to make michigan look like michigan. Don't how you came to the conclusion that we are not making progress.

Michigan looks really good. So excited to see them take on state next week.

I think it was more about Michigan having a ton of talent and Brady Hoke being an incompetent coach.

There is absolutely no way you can compare it to our situation. We were absolutely decimated of talent during PP's regime--not to say we didn't get anyone, but we sure didn't get a lot to work with. You can already tell with the young players that Diaco has gotten and has put to work that we are on the right path now.

A good coach can turn a powerhouse program around fast. Most of those programs usually have enough players on the roster for the new guy to work with.

You guys realize I said not to compare it to our situation in the OP right, they recruit at a different level. Plus our "culture" was decimated. This was about the amazing job Harbaugh has done to make them Michigan once again, and that it is overrated to say coaches need a bunch of years to make it work.

Most colleges aren't hiring coaches in the prime of their careers who took decimated NFL franchises to a Super Bowl.

Hoke didn't even wear a headset on the sideline. He was terrible.

It had to do with this comment:

It had to do with this comment:
I think we had seen signs of improvement prior to this game. Nova, Army, Mizzou, BYU. Not all wins but we are light years ahead of last year or even 2013.

Not in anyway comparing it to the Uconn's situation but you brought it up on a Uconn forum. And basically imply, if harbaugh can win 4 of his first 5 games at UM why can't anyone. But you're not comparing anything. Nothing at all.

He didn't actually imply anything close to what your rant presumes.

He went out of his way to say Harbaugh was advantaged by having the type of talent even Hoch could recruit.

Other than that - good job, good effort.

Stop being beeotch. UCONN and Michigan football are not comparable. They recruit 4 and 5 star talent regardless of who is coach. That wasn't the point of the OP and it's clearly stated in the 1st post.

I wasn't one of the posters upset that our DBs didn't press the BYU receivers like Michigan did.

Point of the post and I wasn't clear enough, if you're floundering in year 3 like we're under P, he is not going to cut it. There should be noticeable improvement from year 1 to 2, which we are seeing. The post was not about uconn but I knew posters like you would make it about uconn so I explicitly stated it wasnt.
