not from a marines family, tho a few were in ww2. some died then in the Pacific.
mostly navy up and down the lineup for a very, very long time.
i do have plenty of pals now or formerly in tho.

i always liked this song.
it's very interesting to watch DOD deploying, across all platforms, a new strategic plan to have everybody do everything, including the machines.
seems like the Marines are currently first up in that plan.
good stuff.

kinda odd that it's not mentioned much in the news, but in the past month,
-101st airborne deployed to eastern europe
-squadron of nuclear capable bombers deployed to Australia
-F-22s sent to Japan to replace F-15s.
sounds like a plan, a very wise one since crapistans are getting even more crappy, and as usual, we seem to be the only people who have ample supplies of toilet paper.
