Wow, I really don't know where to start with this game. We deserved to lose. Our bigs really disappointed tonight. Outrebounded. Interior and perimeter defense was non-existent. Too many missed assignments and leaving their shooters open.
Aaliyah has been playing poorly since the SC game and has not been up to her pre-20+ game standard. Her turnovers have been careless. Maybe the all-American hype is getting to her. Dorka has 3 inches on their tallest player and should not be playing on the perimeter. She has to demand the ball in the post. They put her in switches on the perimeter and they drove baseline on her a lot.
Ducharme wasn't a factor. Patterson didn't even look to score the one scoring opportunity she had before the end of the 1st period.
We have no playmakers and need to get more athletic. St. johns played a good game but let's get real, we stunk up the place.
I don't see us even winning the big east tourney playing like this let alone reaching the final four.
Still no word on AZZI either which is troubling and concerning.
