OT: Great hockey news...

The rumored jump up to Hockey East is official - UConn will be joining in 2014.

A lack of big time hockey was always a gaping hole in our athletic department.

This is great news, with the UConn brand name and the great talent in New England I could see us getting very good very quickly, I'm out here in Chicago and everytime I wear Whalers gear I constantly get people stopping me on the street telling me how much they love the Whale and the logo. Jonathan Quick is a Connecticut kid, can't believe I just found that out.
