Made an insane 2400 of 2553 to raise $75000 for South Carolina Special Olympics.

ESPN analyst Debbie Antonelli makes 2,400 free throws, raises $75,000 for Special Olympics

ESPN announcer raises $75,000 for Special Olympics while making 2,400 free throws

Both articles contain a video of her doing her thing.

Watching a video of more than 2500 FT attempts?

Is that like getting a black belt in watching paint dry?

It's all of 24 seconds Wise Acre. After maybe 23 hours the girl is still looking good knocking them down.

No telestrator for a while.

Must pain really good free throw shooters watching some players who are
really poor from the FT line.

I can attest to this.

I could shoot about 90% from the FT line in high school, but being that I was quite short (about 5'1) and quite slow, it was a skill that was rarely displayed in public. During my seasons on the bench, I spent a great deal of time squirming while my teammates were missing their free throws. And I was particularly annoyed when I was doing extra running in practice because they couldn't get it together. (I know, I know -- a few more runs and I might have gotten a little quicker... blah, blah, blah...)

For me it is akin to watching golf. I can't do it, they are really good at doing it, but I just don't care. Whereas paint is kinda fun. Is it darker than you thought? Will your wife make you do it again? Will it cover in one coat? Will you need to buy new accessories? How about that other room? Ask Sherwin Williams? Nearly no end to the fascination! Oh sensei! All in wrist. Up, down, up ,down . No side ,side. ;)

The visual picture of Debbie Antonelli playing for Geno and CD has given me quite a smile.

Great post Rocky! Not only for the heart warming of what was done but what a great teaching video!
This could be a great lesson for those that over think shooting a foul shot. No green to read or think about, no wondering where the next pitch is going to be and try to hit. The basket is always in the same place and no defender to alter your thinking about trajectory adjustment.
Don't bounce the ball, don't have a ceremony of moves or deep breaths, simply catch the ball from the official and shoot it!
