This was caught a few years ago down south. I forget if this was a picture from Alabama or Florida.

Notice the full grown men are standing aside the gator. No depth perception sleight of hand. The men barely are as high to the hind legs.

My wife used to like watching Gator Boys, a show about gator rescuers who bare-handedly removed nuisance gators from residential/commercial areas. The dramatizations got stoopid so we waned.

But, when the Florida gators became boring they moved to Mississippi...where the gators were much bigger and dangerous. Night and day.

NOTE: I am writing a side note to refer to alligator penises on future @formerlurker posts.
