"1962: US Open, Jack's First Major" just a half hour at 2 Eastern Time.
 
He had the audacity--and greatness--to win in Arnie's backyard.
 
As one of the Army, I did not like the young Jack. In time I forgave him.

That's about where I was too. When Jack slimmed down, he no longer looked like the brash kid.
 
Arnie was a club-tossing, cursing chain smoker. A poor example for our youth. But the media loved him and hid all that from the TV audience.

I don't recall the club tossing or cursing. I have heard Tiger curse a lot. Most of the players back then were chain smokers.

Remember how, in their effort to promote the game, the commentators we lead you to believe that So & So would open the club face two degrees so that the back spin would compensate for the slope of the green when he hit it behind the stick!
