I hope the link works to take you to the scoreboard for the Evian championship in France.
It is the 5th major of the year. Somewhere I read that Evian demanded that the tour make their event a major and if the tour didn't, the company would pull funding for it.
It's been a good year for the LPGA...more Americans winning including getting 3 majors...Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie and Mo Martin. 17 year old Lydia Ko winning an event...I think her 3rd win on the tour. She is part of the Asian invasion but has been raised in New Zealand and speaks great English.
A Ko victory here would be a tasty way to spice up a three way rivalry among Lexi/Michelle and Lydia.
I think that Stacy Lewis is #1 ranked player but if not, she is darn close to that.
The tour is in a much better place than 2 or 3 years ago.
