My dad won't be moving around, I need to find him some great shows to get into. He likes pretty much any genre. He hasn't seen much so they can be new or older shows, fire away!?
 
Sopranos unfortunately ain't on Netflix.

I've heard Narcos is pretty good.

Is The Shield on Netflix? Loved that show.
 
Buy him a big tablet and show him to play FB free games or slot machine casino games.
 
Justified was an awesome binge watch for me. For something more genteel, I suggest Foyle's War.
 
Bloodline is VERY good. Season 2 was just released a few days ago. Highly recommend it.

And of course Breaking Bad is on the Mount Rushmore of alltime shows, so he can always watch that too

Narcos was very good. Same with Bloodline and House of Cards.

If he wants to watch something kind of stupid, then Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is pretty funny and stupid at the same time.
 
The acting and writing in Breaking Bad is epic - Bryan Cranston is a god.

 
Binging 2nd season Bloodline getting really good again after the first 1 or 2.....
 
Just been getting into Peaky Blinders of late. Two thumbs up so far.

Not much new to add to the above recommendations.
Narcos, lot's of subtitles though, so if that's an issue for him, and he doesn;t soeak spanish, may want to pass
Peaky Blinders is good
Bloodline is solid. It's slow, but good.
Band of Brothers is a GREAT series (I believe it is on Netflix, definitely on HBO GO)

...and I'm probably the latest to the party, just started House of Cards, so far so good thru most of season 1
If you have Amazon Prime... The Wire is a must
