OT: Geremy Davis position in jeopardy?

Myers reports that the Giants worked out Wes Welker this past week to sign as a slot back. The only problem is his issues with past concussions.
""If Dwayne Harris and Geremy Davis or even Shane Vereen don't step up on Sunday in Buffalo and become a viable weapon for Eli Manning out of the slot, then it sounds like Tom Coughlin was impressed enough by Welker in his workout in their practice bubble to be under serious consideration."

Welker would replace the cut Preston Parker.

I can't see Harris cut because of Specials, but who replaced Preston Parker (who Palatine just mentioned)?

I think Welker would be perfect check down guy for Eli, but his history of concussions is scary. He has taken some scary hits.
