So, Bama, you denigrate with an "ugh!" But let's look at who is responsible for putting "sari" in my head.
I was content thinking Kashmir sweater until you came along with your totally inappropriate response.
So like the proverbial, "Don't think of pink elephants", that garment is now :pin my head irremovable, and I want Boneyarders like Game:oops: to know where the ire should be directed. So, Bama, who's sari now?;)

I got in your head ,not you in mine. Ugh it is Chief. :p And what is with the "denigrate" ? Not my intention to denigrate, just expressing my disappointment in your ' my brain can't flush ' problem. Hate to see a good man encumbered. ;) Good quiz, by the way , for a guy whose brain is stuck in second! keep on , my friend.

1..Bama & SVC locate the Big Bang. No Sheldon at the time.

2..Unbeknowst to the rest of us, Pinot advises that Sumatra is now a country. Oh well, at least he gives good graphics. The Big Quartet answers properly.

3..Um, you know about the Canal, no?

4..Only VAUC appreciates my cognitive skills.

6..Bama has it.

7..Romans splashing around in England's only mineral springs, as you write.

9..Game, Bama & Big remember Guy Fawkes. Bama with the best detail.

10..It was UK & France, as Bama points out.

11.Yes, Bama, successive Prezzes.

12..I am signaling out Big for the mature way he handled this question, unlike some people I know.

13..And Big rightly names Gabon. Bama is less sure, as is so often the case.

I will accept that Big is more mature; and I think permanent press was a master stroke . Kudos to you and VAUC! But I contend that you are unlucky with 13. Both Gabon and Cameroon are to contiguous to ,and west of the Republic of the Congo. And there is also a country named The Democratic Republic of the Congo. I was truly unsure of your question, not of the answer. As is often the case. But again, permanent press was really good!

Maps tend to display just Congo, but always display the other one as the Dem Rep of the Congo.

Okay, but both are still west of and contiguous to just Congo. That is my reasoning for offering up one or the other. Gabon does have a longer shared border than does Cameroon. So it is perhaps the better answer, but not the only answer , Chief. Just sayin'
