Posters! The world wants to know whether 300 is a landmark, perhaps like the guy
who accumulates a world record in saving twine.

No research & no reprinting questions.

1..Maya commits a Depaul theft & calls TO. The last play?

2..Until 1669 this Englishman keeps a diary.

(Actually , the last play was a heave by DePaul that hit the rim IIRC.)

DePaul inbounds under their basket and does not convert. UConn steals a game they really had no business winning due, in large part, to the play that, for me, defines the greatness of Maya Moore.

11. As I now can't get the song out my head, I realize that it's "If I Were Your Woman" not "was". I'm already indebted to WC for my misspellings, don't want to push it :)

Poalo provided the cover version by Alicia Keys, where she forewent the subjunctive.
It's not a bad tune to have running through your head. I love Gladys.

1..Oh, ed4, we don't give a hoot about what Depaul fruilessly tried. Anyway, you & VAUC.

3. I don't know, Wirechief. Friendly Persuasion and Persuasion? I move to throw out Question #3.

I'm late to the party, but on #3, that is NOT Bing Crosby singing on the YouTube. (Maybe it's Frederick Wentworth.) Bing may have recorded it (I've never heard it if he did), but it certainly isn't a song he is in any way linked to.
