DePaul inbounds under their basket and does not convert. UConn steals a game they really had no business winning due, in large part, to the play that, for me, defines the greatness of Maya Moore.

2..Samuel Pepys

4..The Village Blacksmith, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

7..G-Men

9..Edgar is what you want but since you did not say who was doing the awarding; the answer could just as well be the Nero.

11..If I was your woman, Alicia Keys

13..Chopin is notable for piano solos. I hope the word you want is a synonym for piano solos.

11. As I now can't get the song out my head, I realize that it's "If I Were Your Woman" not "was". I'm already indebted to WC for my misspellings, don't want to push it :)

Poalo provided the cover version by Alicia Keys, where she forewent the subjunctive.
It's not a bad tune to have running through your head. I love Gladys.

1..Oh, ed4, we don't give a hoot about what Depaul fruilessly tried. Anyway, you & VAUC.

2..Ed4, VTC & Poalo with Samuel Pepys.

3..Hope this helps

4..Geordi & zorro provide the line's end--large and sinewy hands.

5..Actually, K9, Taft signed the act as the door was hitting him in the ass, but Wilson fleshed out the personnel, etc.

6..All alone is rbny with en masse.

7..OK, 3 of you get G-men, but there's no truth to the rumor that the parents of our Indiana girl named her after this guy.

8..Simba--Lion King--Meyers + 3

9..No, Poalo, when I give you the "g", the answer can't be anything but "Edgar". And another 4 of you.

10..VTC & geordi with Ben, Thomas and John.

12..VTC, K9 & VAUC watched Kelly S. get robbed.

I'm late to the party, but on #3, that is NOT Bing Crosby singing on the YouTube. (Maybe it's Frederick Wentworth.) Bing may have recorded it (I've never heard it if he did), but it certainly isn't a song he is in any way linked to.
