Whenever the next Superman comes along, to be scientifically up to date, he'll need to upgrade the "speeding bullet" to " neutrino".

Anyway, don't do research: don't repeat questions please.

1..Remaining tensions in the former Yugoslavia are especially high in north Kosovo. Explain.

2..The first Prez of the then-new Czech Republic?

3..The location of the Naval War College since 1884?

4..Tennesee Williams B'way play was S____& S____.

5..What was described in the '90's as, "An entirely new genre of disease-causing agents?

6..The first Afro-American soloist at the NY Met?

7..When the movie rating system first came out, it was "G", "PG", "PG-13" and "NC-17".
Correct that statement.

8..Baseball nicknames: Chicken Man; Vacuum Cleaner. For whom?

9..___ ___, standing in the aisles with itchy feet and fading smiles, can you feel me?

10..The asteroid belt lies between..?

11..Classic theatre with "Earnest" as the last word.

12..A 2-wheeled carriage with folding hood, __b______.

13..The only bro/sis combo to have been rated #1 in tennis?

14..The Russian sub Kurst sank about 12 years ago in which body of water?

15..Short form of legislation pertaining to dogs, _____ ____.

16..She appeared in Howard's End and Remains of the Day. Who?

17..Clothing that makes one think of Northern Ireland?

18..Recent Doonesbury has been focusing on 2 women of what occupation?

19..Name for a workbench groove, borrowed from the alphabet?

20..Kierkegaard's nationality?

21..From a folk group(?), When You Come Back Down.

22..Fado is music of what country?

23..Our Miss Brooks guy(?) later mentors Stallone in _____ _____.

24..Oscar-winning flic centered on the '24 Olympics?

25..Chico's 4 brothers?

You need not respond on the same level as a neutrino.

He would have to be one seriously dense Superman to stop a neutrino!

Well, no, NCor for the original hype was not that he stops a speeding bullet, but that he's faster.

I just noticed I have been awarded the testmeister trophy as my ID.
Given that it underscores accomplishment moreso than does "new member", I bow with humility.

Kibitzer, we award 33/4 of five, for answering with such...zippo.

Pap49 takes only 2 shots, but nails them both. A very careful figure is our pap.

VTC is next, scoring 73/4 of 10...and a laugh from yours truly over the last Marx Brother.
This is a good place to point out that no one has the film ratings correct.
Here we also can't use his channeling of Arsenic and Old...

We turn to Fairview, forging a 60%, including the first successful brother recital. (Mind you, one of the bros. was not interested in show business). HIV & flak jacket do not help, but no one else has these rightly either.

Moving to VAUConn, Kirilenkos won't do it, but no one else has this yet. And he's closest of all on movie ratings.
Clete we must throw out, but this is an empty category up and down. We''ll call it 63%.

UPink, though hiding behind NCor, is spot on with 9 & 21. 100%
Alter ego NCor gives us a breed in 15, but we need a legal term. It is provided by other posters
Good for 87%

Crownfox is among those who try 2 and score both.

Need 1(focus on separate ethnicity), 8(keep wading into this, though it's like a stream), 13(these letters help, when unscrambled--aaaadimnrrt), 17(think overcoat). 19.. I get the impression we are not artisans of carpentry, so I throw in "T-slot", gratis. 22..from a Romance country.

I had to look it up. I was hoping for a gotcha but unfortunately it is indeed an article of clothing. Google it.
