East side, west side, all around the town
The kids watch Tommy 7, he's our favorite TV clown
He's got a nose that's magic, a pushcart loaded with fun
So let's watch Tommy 7, forrrrrrr, the show has now begun!(two tweaks of the nose)

9. I seem to recall that Spain controlled Louisiana for the latter part
of the 18th century as part of the fallout from the seven years war.
Then Napoleon took it back.

1 we have besarse and besan mucho, correct meaning, but inapproprite forms vis a vis the sentence.

2..attacks one dimension of sex discrimination.

5..Not Benedict...nor Pius XII, for that matter.

8..yeah, yeah, a guitar & drums, but it's the 3rd that makes this a decent query.

10..Long bygone

13..Greek! the chorus cries. Who can be a bit more specific?

15..In Korea last month, she won the 1500m.

17..Oh, the reluctance to work on brain teasers. Both have a "ers" in the middle.

24..The WWII army was contracting out for a special item.

3. Little Willy? (by Sweet). sounds somewhat familiar
4. Here goes. Phil Collins wrote a song "In the Air Tonight" that was rumored to be about a man who watched another man drowning (presumably from a bridge - a view from a bridge) but did nothing about it. Phil Collins is a short balding English singer/songwriter. Elton John is a short balding English singer/songwriter. Elton wrote a song "Candle in the Wind" about Marilyn Monroe.
8. Guitar, bass, drums
9. French
10. Boston Braves?
12. Shannon and Sterling
13. reptile?
16. North Dallas Forty?
19. Steve Martin (can't think of any other comic who has a bluegrass band)

G'day, lads & lassies, I am pleased to put right all that is written.

1..Beso is what the sentence calls for.

2..Equal pay, credit NCor.

3..Four with Sidewalks of NY; zorro with the next line.

4..Written by Arthur Miller, a Marilyn hubby. Terif is most complete.

5..Geordi off with his numbering, but provides John Paul2.

6..Crown is our solitary winner with Enya.

7..Rbny & zorro hit on Bosley Crowder.

8..Maracas

9..Spain, ed4, Knights, & geordi. France takes over at the turn of the century.

10..Pilgrims, going back to the 20thC first decade.

11..Crown & NCor with IMF.

12..Shannon & Sterling, receivers. VAUC & meyers.

13..See what the name "Philip" does for you.

14..NCor fingers Turkey.

15..Steeplechase.

16..Tons of you with North Dallas Forty.

17..manages=oversees; Europe(e.g.)=overseas...shame on NCor & everyboday else.

18..The IRS--JR, and see rbny for details.

19..Terif, NCor & meyers have Steve Martin. Woody plays the clarinet, so I don't know how he'd fit in bluegrass.

20..Rbny leads 3 in posting Claude Monet.

21..Sauces from France and Italy respectively, three here with NCor most complete.

23..Arlene Francis, cited by a half dozen.

24..NCor, though not too sure, with jeep.

25..Abe, you goofballs.

And stay tuned for #237...eventually.

In 13, I was looking for one of you to specify that she was Macedonian-Greek, descended from the Ptolemy line.
