Former MSU gymnastics coach was sentence to 90 days for lying to police during the Larry Nasser investigation. Charges were dropped against former MSU President Lou Anna Simon and many felt Klages would get probation only.

Former Michigan State gymnastics coach Kathie Klages, who was found guilty by a jury in February for denying she knew of Larry Nassar's abuse, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for lying to police.

Glad to see she will have to serve some time thought to be honest, I wish it were more time. Too many times do coaches and administrators cover up for each other and not take a stance or inquire on what is right. I can only hope all schools learn from this but given what We have seen lately, I am not overly optimistic...
