You beat me to it. Just copied this tweet to paste it here. When these graduate kids move on, they don't move on to the program with highest prestige or well known history, they identify a team where they can play right away and have an impact. No reason to go to Alabama and sit behind Sims, or go to Miami and sit behind Kaaya etc. It must also fit on the academic end of things.

That completely depends on how good they are.

Russell Wilson went to Wisconsin. Because he's good.

He did recently state that he is set to graduate in May. So, naturally, rumors about him transferring are swirling.

Aside: does UCONN offer some sort of atheist grad course that Notre Dame doesn't offer? We already banned JC from our huddle so we're kinda half of the way there.
A graduate transfer is a better option than a JUCO IMO. One year stop gap. They have experience, can come in and play immediately, and allow the true freshmen QB's to develop, mature and get acclimated to college football. If you ask me, a graduate transfer is a better option than a JUCO transfer. Just look at what Lasan Kromah did for you Men's basketball team one year ago. I think he was a huge piece to the team's success.

Saw it on twitter last night,/didn't know ESPN had reported it.
Believe I saw it on the front page yesterday. I'm sure he had an opportunity to go to a P5 but he saw immediate playing time and a starting spot at LT. That's what these graduate kids are seeking. And he gets to stay in the south.

Nobody thought Russell Wilson was good at NC State? Wut?

He threw for 76 touchdowns and 8,500 yards in 3 years.

He led the ACC in passing and total yards his junior year.

He led the ACC is passing touchdowns all three years.

Tom O'Brien stupidly chased him off because of his desire to hit .230 in the Northwest League.
