For me, it's Hot Line by the Sylvers. That song makes me smile.

There is a web site - "playing for change," IIRC - that includes a page called "Stand By Me."

When you access it, you will at first see a street musician in California strumming his guitar and singing "Stand By Me." Over the next several minutes, the visual changes to singers and musicians on several continents, all continuing to perform the title song and, amazingly, all hooked up to all others performing in succession. Remarkable and uplifting.

Man this thread is the best. I see a link, enjoy it, and then it reminds me of another!

This was an electrifying performance a few weeks ago in Bridgeport. Tedeschi Trucks Band and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. They tore it up!

I'M SORRY GANG, I know I've overdone it once again, but I can't just just have 1 favorite when there are so many moods to answer to! You have to admit I've presented some really good choices so PLEASE FORGIVE ME!

If you really NEED MELLOW! This will fill that need!

If you want an instant party, the first 39:00 is essentially one long feel good song:

The first one is easy, it just makes you feel good:

The second one is a song that just makes me feel good. Maybe it's because I remember it from my youth:

I have to smile seeing this again and also because of a small back story. In a follow-up interview, Keith explains
that he reached out to Chuck to do some sessions. While he was OK with the project, he says that Chuck was an even bigger pain in the ass than Mick Jagger.
