I could never take a guy who looked like he was captain of the math team in high school seriously talking about football.

that's why it was so great that he was on ESPN.

A guy who did not necessarily have the looks for TV but was so good at his job, so plugged-in to the comings and goings of the NFL, that he made it to ESPN and lasted for many years.

I always liked him and don't like that he is out.
Golic's son should be gone.

Casuals actually care about Stephen A. When's the last time anyone has talked about John Clayton?
NFL fans knew who Clayton was and he was damn good at his gig. Loved his TV and radio reports - always insightful and bringing value.
