I was watching it since the 3rd inning. Cannot believe the Rangers blew it. If the Rangers lose game 7, this is going to hurt Rangers fans badly until they win a title.

Rangers blew it? No. Cardinals won it. What a finish. Last three innings were the best ever. No team ever did what The Cardinals did tonight. Fighting back to tie in two consecutive innings after being one strike away from defeat.
P.s. I was at the Bernie Carbo/ Carlton Fisk game in '75. This was better.

Is there a reason Holland couldn't have finished that game? Feliz is dangerous (even iof he has had some success) and Oliver should have retired five years ago (that may have been the dumbest move ever).

this was the best possible thing for the mlb and i'm gald the series has been good. st lou and tex are great baseball mk's but the best are ny/boston/phili/atl/chi/la. since 1990 16 of those years have had atleast one of those major mk's involved. i was thinking there might be a bit of a drag tv wise without those mk's in it but this series has been great so i think the mlb is doing just fine.

And why is this game epic??? Because of the relentless offensive fireworks. Offense, hits, runs, homers, lead changes, improbable comebacks. Ahh, sports in the new millenium.

Of course the defense & pitching was appalling, but thats another story for another time. Baseball, Baskeball, Football . . . the fan excitement is in the offense. Hmmm??? Maybe something for UConn football to take note of.
