And the soul food. Fried Chicken, Fried Okra, Chitlins, Chicken Fried steak.....

I dated a girl from Vanderbilt for several years when I lived in DC. Her social circle consisted of girls from Vandy and other SEC schools. I don't think I saw a single one of them eat a chicken fried steak or chitlins in the 4 years we were together. I don't think your typical southern debutante indulges in a lot of soul food.

I'd wholeheartedly agree. I am a Vanderbilt Alumnus myself. Anorexia and Bulimia were more of a problem than weight gain. I was speaking about the Super Southern schools. Bama, Ole Miss, SMU, etc.

There was an amazing soul food joint in Nashville (hood section) called 'Sweats' that opened up on Sundays after Church. My group of 4 or 5 friends went there every Sunday. We were one of only two groups of all white guys from Vanderbilt that ever showed up there.

On the topic of Emily Noonan, I find her adorable but vapid. All things considered, however, I'll go for that over the little kids trying to put on oversized jerseys and shoes seeing who can get a layup quicker.
start gambling on which kid wins. We generally bet $10 every game when the kids come out. Adds a little excitement.
Be prepared for some disgusted looks from people when you find yourself calling a 5 year old a chump because he cant put on a pair of shorts.
