My folks used to have a VERY large male Dane. Merle harliquin, which was a fascinating look, with uncropped ears. We couldn't tell how heavy, because he wouldn't stay still long enough for the floor scale at the feed store to get a good reading. His half brother went 195, 'tho.

Of all the dogs we ever had, perhaps the smartest was Shadow, which was half Dane and half Old English Sheepdog. He looked like an Irish Wolfhound, albeit a bit smaller than a pure Wolfhound.

that looks like a Mastiff... tall & clean. There's this guy in West Hartford and those dogs look like horses
