There are a few younger talents that have distinct voices, maybe emulating the greats. Carly Rose Sonenclair. She was 13 when she sang this.



Another I liked was Janet Devlin



And last but not least, Amira Willinghagen from Holland.... so young at 9 years old and such a powerful voice.

While I like your list, I don't think I would call it "more recent ones".

I'll give you Jones, but Whitney (died in 2012), Parton (70), Nicks (68) and Slick (76) aren't what I'd call recent.

Depends on your perspective, I guess... 50 years more recent than many on this thread.
