Zach Miller with same injury as Bridgewater had training cap.

Dislocated knee. As gruesome as any compound fracture. When the knee cap slides off there is nothing to keep one from hyperextending.

Part of the unintended consequences of having bigger, stronger and faster players. Human body bone, ligament and muscle structure can only overcome laws of physics to a limit.

Recent reports are stating that doctors are working to save his leg, nevermind his career.

You are correct, and we've also seen similar injuries happen in basketball with minimal contact. Gordon Haywood just a couple weeks ago.

Whoa!!! Looks fake. Like Gumby or something.

Seems like these massive leg traumas have replaced the neck paralysis injuries from 15-20 years ago. Byrd, Utley, etc.

I don't know if the field turf has anything to do with it or any other reason.

That looks photoshopped. Can't believe the human knee can even bend in that way. YIKES!!!

Reminds me of Willis McGahee having his knee blown backwards in that championship game against OSU
That play will always be engrained in my brain. I remember them showing it on slo-mo once or twice before realizing it was too nasty to keep showing. It’s was absolutely brutal to watch

Well, when the knee cap that's supposed to prevent the leg from flexing that way slides off to the side it can.

Clearly. Still disgusting and unfathomable. That is just gruesome to look at.
