I'm not sure what the argument for Manning over Brady is these days. Let alone Manning over Montana.

Peyton is easily in the top five all time for QBs, and he's in my top three. But there really isn't much tangible evidence to say he's had a better career than Brady.

If I had to play a Super Bowl tomorrow, I'd take Marino over Manning.

Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon didn't have too bad seasons this year. They were pretty good.

I didnt even mention the name Reggie Wayne or Pierre Garcon. I never said Peyton never had good receivers, I said he can make any receiver look good. By midget receiver I was talking about Brandon Stokley, and by hippie receiver I was talking about Eric Decker. Demarius Thomas is a real good big play receiver.

I knew who you were referring to. And it's obvious he makes players like Decker really good (Stokely however has had success outside Peyton'a aura). I do think much of the loss was on Peyton's head last night. He was spotted 2 TDs and kind of turtled into his shell. For me, it looked like the Peyton from the first half of his career. Even the optics were bad, he was freezing out there, the only one wearing a parka at the OT coin flip. He just never seems to get it that optics count, his demeanor out there counts. He's very much like Marino who was often flustered.

That I agree with, Eli is better in that area of not being flustered. Peyton is too mechanical, a part of it was the play calls, and the Ravens defense was better, Peyton had to earn all of his yards last night. The Broncos should have ran some more screen passes and less 5 step drop back passes which help the Ravens get to him easier and throw off his rhythm.
