I didn't see that Connors had passed. Manic one of my favorites. And who could resist Mason. RIP all and MTM.

Remember when he gave one of the first anti-smoking public service announcements on TV? (As did Yul Brenner.. He said something to the effect that his job on TV was to lose to Perry Mason, but now he was losing the biggest battle of his life, to lung cancer. A terribly sad, but completely heroic moment. One of the first times that cancer as a disease was made public as something that could be discussed rather than secretly horrified by.
