I would think he'd be a 2nd round pick, no? I find it hard to believe that a guy who is 6-9 with some guard skills would not get drafted.

That too... He's averaging 19-10 3 assists and 2 blocks a game. He can't shoot it from deep, but that's some serious stat stuffing. Weird that the word is that he wouldn't be drafted.

I question his effort/passion. Tends to "float" but, dude puts up those numbers without trying very hard. I mean I'm not sure he can hang in the league.

Remember he jumped up a year to play with his brother. Dedrick is still only 19 years old. If I were him, I'd stay for another year and hopefully make the tournament and a weaker draft class. Can't begrudge someone wanting to start their professional career though

KJ got hurt last year so he's a redshirt freshman. KJ was Class of 2015 and Dedrick was class of 2016 but reclassified up to become a freshman last season. Apparently Chandler Lawson who is class of 2019 is the best of the bunch. I wonder if Memphis keeps their father on staff to hopefully land him as well.
