Legendary sportswriter Jenkins dies at 89

Jenkins is an historically great sportswriter...particularly in golf.

BTW: his daughter Sally Jenkins of the Washington Post has made her own mark over the years....gaining many acclaims.
Sally was a close friend of none other than LadyVol Herself.

Dan was a great writer. Sally is talented too, though I discount anything she writes on Tennessee because of her relationship with Pat.

I always made sure I read anything Dan Jenkins wrote even if it wasn't about a sport or topic that I was not necessarily one I was fully engaged in or about. RIP and condolences to the Jenkins family...
