OT: Cronin ejects his own player

after reading these personal accounts from Jamerson's HS coaches, last night's interaction did come off as Cronin going after a player who he knew wouldn't buck back at him

I always got a kick out of Cronin's antics but he's getting over the top lately and he was way out of line last night. There was no reason to go after his player like that and embarrass him on national TV. I hope he apologizes to him personally and addresses it with the media.

The “are you raising your voice to me?” was the interview equivalent of what he had just done to Jameson in the game. Totally unwarranted attempt to take out his own frustrations by embarrassing someone who can’t really fight back due to the big power imbalance. What a child.
He's a 5'5 140 lb. bully. He needs to get himself Shia LaBeouf'd.

You guys just don't get him, Mick's just misunderstood. Big East Him!

Stars are aligning for him to head back to Cincinnati…. @kobe youd take him back in a heartbeat no?

I cannot believe there are fans of college basketball who dislike Hurley more than this guy. I completely understand how Hurley can rub the pearl-clutchers of the world the wrong way (though I often disagree), but to me, Cronin is the epitome of insufferable.
Because he doesn't win. If Hurley didn't win they'd either just dismiss him as an annoying buffoon (like some do his brother) or love him for his antics.

People don't like him because he's our nutty dick and he smacks their team around.

I don’t like the way Cronin treated his player. But at least he doesn’t mouth off about other fan bases like Ed. To paraphrase Mick, “you think I care about other teams’ fans? I don’t give a rat’s behind”

He used to do a college basketball segment on the Colin Cowherd show show a few years back when Colin was just in L.A, and every time I was left thinking what a detestable individual.

this guy is a clown. he tried to apologize but spent more time trying to excuse his own behavior

Mick apologized to his player, btw.

He said it looked to him like he took him out on a cheap shot and they don't do that stuff and he realized later he was wrong, so he apologized and talked the kid up.

I've actually met Mick and I think he's a good guy and a good coach, despite being cartoonish at times. He even admitted in that interview that he needs to get himself under control in certain ways.

I think he's genuine. He's fun to make fun of though. But he seems to be about doing things the right way, which I appreciate.

He did.

I think Cronin would be gone already if it weren't for his very large buyout. He hates his team and constantly blames the players. No accountability. The fans are tired of him. Even MSU fans think the foul wasn't too bad. He is being lambasted all over social media today. My bet is he is a short-timer.

Bring him back to the BE. The angry leprechaun needs to come home.

In the full pic he looks like he is trying to get his player to dance ala Saturday night fever. The player is like WTF?
